On Four Corners tonight (ABC 8:30pm) they are investigating claims that secretive religious sect the Exclusive Brethren has been transferring large sums of money across the world to fund political campaigns in Australia and the US. See also ABC News.
The Exclusive Brethren aren’t allowed to vote (don’t recall ever reading that passage in the bible?) but allegedly they spend a lot of time and money campaigning and lobbying political parties they support.
and it finishes just in time to turn over to Channel Ten and watch Californication… if it’s still on!
